Support for the weight of losing someone, at your own pace, with a clinician who understands how grief shows up.
Many people who come to Keeping Hopes Alive are living with loss: the death of a parent, a friend lost to violence, a loved one who is incarcerated, a relationship that ended. Grief can look like sadness, anger, numbness, trouble sleeping or trouble focusing at school and work.
Grief counseling gives you time with a clinician to talk about the person or the loss, make sense of what you feel and find ways to carry it. Children and teens can work through grief with approaches that fit their age, and families can come together.

Who it is for
- Youth and adults after the death of a loved one
- Families coping with community violence
- People grieving a loved one who is incarcerated
